Asty Mykonos Hotel & Spa, is currently seeking to recruit for the above project in Mykonos, professional for the position of
RESTAURANT MANAGER - MYKONOS
(Code: RM - MYK)
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the Operations of the restaurant, pool and room service department in terms of quality and direct service to guests as well as back of the house.
Supervises, guides, and functionally supports his/her Team and represents the department.
It undertakes the monitoring of supplies, orders, and cost control. As a representative of the department, it is his/her duty to observe and promote proposals for further improvement as well as quality creation and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of cleanliness and order of the front & back of the house
- Team training, coaching, management, and support
- Monitoring and distributing tasks by position and based on daily needs
- Cash check and final approval of delivery
- Reception, Service and kitchen coordination in collaboration with Chef regarding daily and future reservations
- Monitor department performance and make recommendations for operational improvement and promotion
- Communicate with suppliers, existing and new partners in order to place the orders, search and evaluate offers
- Monitoring consistency and correctness of orders always based on needs and cost based on hotel budget
- HACCP procedures controls and reporting in cooperation with Chef
- Participation in meeting and promotion of company guidelines, standards and hotel policy
- Direct, harmonious, and productive collaboration with other HODs
- Control and coordinate tasks based on received memos in cooperation with Front Office Manager and the F.O Team
- Performing daily closure in cooperation with the Night Auditor in order to control daily revenue and smooth operation
- Daily communication with Hotel Manager, providing detailed info regarding the guest experience in order to maintain the excellency of high-end services
