Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department. The right incumbent will be responsible for the efficient management of accounting related matters, ensuring proper preparation of the reconciliations for the company's financial statements while also coordinates accounting projects and promotes our company’s financial well-being. The role reports to Finance Director and is based in Pedino, Kilkis.
Key responsibilities:
- Performs accounting entries, updates ledgers and proceeds with the reconciliation of accounts
- Oversees accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations
- Checks General Accounting records and ensures their correct registration
- Supports the preparation and coordination of the audit process, including the internal financial controls and procedures
- Supports the Operations Teams on issues that require finance and accounting guidance
- Communicates on a regular basis with vendors, reconciling accounts and following up on payment
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, clients, and internal teams
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses based on company needs
- Support the implementation of various finance projects as required
