The role

As a System and Network Administrator, you will be part of our IT Operations team, which is located in our Head Offices in Thessaloniki. On daily basis, you are responsible for ensuring the unlimited function of our Information Systems, Cloud Services, Network and Telecommunication equipment of Alumil Group. The role involves both support work as well as working on new projects. Your typical day at work might include a variety of tasks and responsibilities aimed at:

• Designing, analysing and implementing network and telecommunication projects to meet organizational needs
• Implementing and managing network and telecommunication security measures to protect sensitive data
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers and networks devices including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitoring system and network performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal operation
• Monitoring and managing Cloud Services such as Office365 – Azure, Intune, Endpoint Security
• Continuous research into innovative technologies to discover new and efficient solutions for day-to-day challenges
• Planning and implementing backup policy of Information Systems and Network equipment

• BSc in Informatics, Computer Science or relevant education background
• At least 2 years of experience in relative position
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Microsoft 365 and Azure Veeam Backup
• Excellent use of the English language
• CCNA/ CCNA Security certification is required
• Windows server systems administration certifications and Cisco Network (CCNP) certifications are a plus
• Analytical thinking, problem solving & communication skills
