Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival
- Deliver high-quality of food and beverages to guests
- Organize table settings and maintain tables clean and neat
- Provide recommendations and information to guests about menu items, including wine and cocktail pairings
- Taking orders and serving
- Room Service
- Deliver checks and receive payments
- Cashier handling
- Always aspire to up-sell additional products and services
- Always follow strict hygiene procedures (HACCP)
- Respond to guests’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- Minimum experience of 2 years in a high-end restaurant or 5* Hotel
- Excellent command of Greek and English language (additional languages will be considered an asset)
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of POS, preferably (PYLON TOUCH OR PMS, MS OFFICE)
- Be informed about other cultures and dairy restrictions
- Knowledge of wines will be considered an asset
- Guest friendly mentality
