EU Project Engineer

As an EU Projects Engineer, you’ll:

• Take charge of the technical and administrative management of EU-funded Research and Innovation Projects from start to finish
• Develop and oversee detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Manage resources effectively, ensuring projects are executed smoothly while mitigating risks
• Ensure projects meet EU regulations, guidelines, and sustainability goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, researchers, and consortium partners to align technical objectives
• Prepare technical reports for EU authorities and contribute to new project proposals and funding applications
• Stay ahead of industry trends in renewable energy, smart grids, and sustainability

As an EU Projects Engineer, you need to have the following skills:

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related fields
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management at national or international levels
• Strong project management skills with familiarity in project management software
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in data analysis for studies
• Expertise in energy and green technologies; experience with energy systems simulation software is a plus
• Collaborative mindset, with experience working in interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical documentation and presentations
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional European languages is an asset
• Willingness to travel within Europe for project-related tasks
