Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a corporate environment with an emphasis on backend application development
- Strong understanding of object oriented programming
- Applied proficiency in programming using Java 11+
- Applied proficiency in developing REST APIs using modern java frameworks like Vert.x, Project Reactor etc.
- Foundational understanding of reactive programming using RxJava or Project Reactor
- Foundational understanding of design patterns and architecture principles
- Experience with Docker
- Experience version control systems such as Git
- Good oral and written English communication skills
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring and leveraging emerging technologies
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
Advantageous Qualifications
- Proficiency in microservices development and architecture
- Experience with Apache Kafka in microservices architectures and event sourcing models
- Experience with Elasticsearch
