Περιγραφή

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented  Operations Executive to oversee all aspects of operations at Grand Forest Metsovo. Reporting directly to the Hotelier, the Operations Executive will ensure that every department — including Front Office, Back Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Spa — operates at the highest level of excellence, delivering unparalleled guest experiences.

You will be responsible for coordinating all daily operations while fostering a cohesive and professional team culture, ensuring that the resort maintains its world-class standards in service, quality, and guest satisfaction.

The Role: 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all resort departments (Front Office, Back Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Spa, and Banqueting).
  • Lead, mentor, and manage department heads to ensure smooth, efficient, and aligned operations across all areas of the resort.
  • Ensure a flawless guest experience, from check-in to check-out, and across all touchpoints (dining, spa, housekeeping, events). Actively address and resolve any guest concerns.
  • Maintain and elevate the standards of service, cleanliness, and product quality across the property. Regularly audit operations and services to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the owners to manage budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability without compromising service standards. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggest operational improvements.
  • Oversee the coordination and execution of private events and banquets, ensuring they meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the hoteliers/owners, providing regular updates, reporting on operational performance, and aligning on strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure that all resort operations comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards. Implement best practices to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Promote sustainable practices that respect the natural beauty of Metsovo. Foster relationships with the local community and suppliers, supporting local initiatives when possible.
  • Lead and manage the response to any operational emergencies or crises, ensuring minimal disruption to guests and the business.

Skills that can make you outstand in tis role: 

  • Minimum of 5-7 years in hotel operations management, within luxury or boutique resorts (SLH, LHW).
  • Relevant academic degree. (Master's Degree/MBA will be considered an asset) 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and elevate a cohesive team.
  • Proven track record in delivering excellent guest experiences and managing guest relations.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and driving profitability.
  • Fluent in Greek and English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), point of sale (POS) systems, and other hotel-related software.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and fluctuating shifts as needed in a 24/7 operation.
