Duties and responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen personnel, promoting a collaborative and professional atmosphere.
- Oversee and regulate kitchen expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary objectives.
- Develop and design menus that reflect the Mediterranean culinary tradition, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen in accordance with HACCP.
- Monitor and control kitchen expenses to meet budgetary goals.
Candidate profile:
- Demonstrated success as a Chef or Head Chef, or in a comparable leadership position.
- In-depth expertise in Mediterranean cuisine, showcasing both traditional and modern cooking techniques.
- Exceptional leadership and management abilities, with a talent for inspiring and nurturing team growth.
- Experience in fine dining or high-volume food service operations.
