Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

As a Collections and Disputes Specialist your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing customer collections through various channels (calls, emails, portals) in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment, ensuring documentation and traceability of contact results at the customer/invoice level.
  • Logging and monitoring payment commitments, including amount, date, installments, payment methods, and payment advice, while driving proactive collection efforts and timely follow-ups on unsuccessful customer contacts.
  • Providing customer service on collection issues, including processing refunds, reviewing account adjustments, resolving discrepancies, and addressing short payments.
  • Overseeing assigned accounts, including customer calls, account reconciliations, small balance write-offs, reconciliations, and approved refunds, while maintaining effective communication with other departments.
  • Escalating customers' financial difficulties to the team leader for evaluation or payment plan creation, ensuring adherence to Bayer’s policies and procedures.
  • Managing claims and disputes for the assigned customer portfolio, including creation, analysis, and investigation in line with Bayer’s standard procedures.
  • Escalating issues per the escalation matrix to the Team Lead and collaborating with Order-to-Cash or Supply Chain Management teams to gather information for resolving claims/disputes.
  • Working on the open or new disputes, following up on unresolved cases, and communicating outcomes to the team leader.
  • Identifying and proposing opportunities to enhance or streamline business processes.
  • Assessing risks or costs related to process delays and escalating timely to the Team Lead as needed.


The ideal candidate for the position of Collections and Disputes Specialist will be expected to have the following:
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable University in Business Administration, Finance or any other relevant field.
  • Excellent customer and solution-oriented mindset, business acumen with attention to detail and passion to deliver great results.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication, analytical, problem solving, decision making as well planning and organizing skills.
  • Digital savvy with solid knowledge/ hands-on experience on IT systems, SAP, ERP, Bl systems and MS Office.
  • Proven ability to embrace change and be able to work in a continuously changing environment.
  • Team player, competent, confident and resilient.
  • Advanced negotiation skills, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, able to perform under pressure, being meticulous and detail oriented.
  • End to end understanding of Collections & Disputes procedures.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (both written and verbal).
