Aether Engineering is a company specializing in the evaluation, development, permitting, construction, and management of Renewable Energy Sources projects, including Wind farms, Photovoltaic parks, and more. With a growing portfolio of projects, the company is expanding its Logistics Management team and looking for a dedicated and skilled RES Engineer.

Role description:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Engineer with experience in the construction of Wind farm projects to join our team. This role will be responsible for the transportation management of WTG’s, ensuring that all permits and works are completed on time and according to approved plans and specifications, as part of the Owner’s Engineering team. Additionally, the role will be responsible for the wind turbine erection monitoring. The ideal candidate should have strong management skills, excellent coordination skills, and a proven track record in managing relevant works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wind Turbine Transportation Permitting: Manage the permit issuance process with all the involved authorities
• Design Management: Manage all the design drafting and approval process
• Construction Supervision: Supervise and manage daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to permits, designs, and specifications.
• Project Planning & Coordination: Define project milestones and ensure deadlines are met by overseeing and adjusting schedules as needed
• Quality Assurance: Review work quality, conduct site inspections, and ensure that all works are executed according to specifications and Greek regulations
• Risk Management: Proactively address any construction delays, project modifications, or unforeseen complications.
• Project Scheduling: Develop and manage project timelines and schedules.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports, including project status updates and progress reviews.
• Documentation: Prepare project documents and maintain comprehensive records of project activities

Main Qualifications:

• Educational Background: University degree in Engineering, with membership in the Technical Chamber of Greece.
• Experience: 4 years of professional experience in the construction of wind farms, ideally having participation in the transportation and erection process is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken).
• Other Requirements: Valid driving license with the ability to travel to project sites.
