About the Restaurant Supervisor role:

As an essential member of our Food & Beverage leadership team, the Assistant Restaurant Manager ensures that consistent and thoughtful service is delivered to our guests. This position is responsible for training, motivating and help lead the dynamic team to the success of our goals. The Assistant Restaurant Manager, reporting to our Restaurant Manager is visible within the operations, providing Guest recognition, promoting good public relations, handling special requests and assisting the rest of the team in times of pressure by occasionally taking food or beverage orders, clearing tables and assuring the smooth operations of the restaurant. 

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Our Ideal Assistant Restaurant Manager candidate will have:

  • F&B Management experience in a luxury environment and a Michelin starred background. International experience is preferred
  • Problem solving, benchmark and innovation capacities
  • Good PR skills to meet and connect with our guests
  • People skills: must be a person who develops people service skills and their craftsmanship for internal and international growth
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for exploring new products and services
  • Extensive knowledge of food and wine, guest service, cost control, labor control, menu writing
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • All applicants need to have legal right to work in Greece at the time of their application
  • Knowledge of food and hygiene (HACCP) is required

Requirements:

  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality, and a can-do approach to any request.
  • A minimum of three years of food service experience in a luxury environment. (5* hotels or fine dining restaurants)
  • Flexibility, initiative, and teamwork approach are required.
  • A high level of wine and food knowledge. (WSPC or Genius in Gastronomy certificate is preferred)
  • Proficiency in using POS.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the Greek and English language.
