We are looking for a Lead Quality Control Analyst for the Fuels & Lubricants Laboratory of the largest electricity provider in Greece. If you have a strong background in fuels and lubricants and are passionate about driving quality and innovation, this role might be the perfect fit for you.

As the Lead Quality Control Analyst, you will:

  • Oversee and conduct chemical analyses of fuels and lubricants to ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
  • Develop, validate, and implement analytical methods specifically for fuels and lubricants.
  • Evaluate and interpret test results, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory departments for shared analyses and reporting.
  • Supervise and train laboratory analysts, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Support laboratory accreditation processes and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Stay updated on new industry standards, methodologies, and regulatory changes related to fuels and lubrication.
  • Manage laboratory operations and contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures and processes.
  • Lay the groundwork for future leadership by preparing to manage the laboratory and its team.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

The ideal candidate for the position of Lead Quality Control Analyst should possess the following:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Petroleum and Natural Gas Technology from a Higher or Technological Educational Institute.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • At least 5 years of experience in fuel and lubricant analysis laboratories, preferably in accredited environments.
  • Expertise in method development, validation, and result evaluation for fuels and lubricants.
  • Experience in writing and interpreting technical reports and opinions.
  • Strong knowledge of fuel and lubricant quality standards, testing protocols, and industry best practices.
  • Leadership experience in managing or supervising a laboratory or department is highly desirable.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, with the ability to stay engaged during periods of lower workload by exploring new standards and methodologies.
