HR Generalist

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist assists the HR department from candidate screening to interviewing and evaluating candidates to onboarding and providing assistance for training and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and analytical support to the HR Manager in the development of a consistent HR strategy for all properties
  • Support employees in leaves, compensation and in various HR-related issues
  • Design and update job descriptions and HR manuals
  • Prepare reports, organize employee performance appraisals and conduct employee satisfaction surveys
  • Interact with all operational departments, determine future recruitment and training needs
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company’s policies and procedures
  • Create job advertisements, advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media and internally
  • Participate in job fairs, career days and recruitment events
  • Screen candidate’s CV’s and applications forms; contact interviews (via phone, skype or zoom)
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate further interviews; follow up on the interview process status
  • Inform new or existing employees about responsibilities, job duties, benefits, schedules, accommodation, transportation, working conditions, promotion opportunities

Qualifications / Personal characteristics:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry or in a high volume recruitment environment
  • Degree in Human Resources or Hospitality Management
  • Excellent knowledge of English language; computer literacy (especially MS Excel), good knowledge of LinkedIn sourcing
  • Experience with sourcing techniques and in resume databases
  • Strong communication skills and a problem solving person
  • Pleasant personality, team player, focused on accomplishing high quality results
