Technical Service Fault Technician

As a professional, you enjoy working at various companies in industry, keeping company facilities and machinery parks up and running, reducing downtime. You will be deployed on projects ranging from 3 weeks to 3 years. Because you will be working in the technical department at various companies, you will have to deal with various machines and techniques such as; packaging machines, controls, actuators, weighers, depth tractors, metal detectors, conveyors, PLC, cranes, servo motors, relays, frequency converters, sensors, stainless steel, and much more challenging techniques.

What are your daily tasks:
- Investigating, locating and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and/or mechatronic failures;
- Automation and/or PLC controls;
- Performing failure analysis to determine the cause and prepare reports;
- Engaging in preventive, corrective and/or predictive maintenance of an entire machine park or machine lines;
- Working out and implementing improvement proposals.
What we expect from you:
We understand that everyone has their own ambitions and interests. Therefore, we do not expect you to master all the traits listed below. So there is plenty of room for your growth and development.
- Secondary Vocational Education - level 4 working and thinking level (electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or similar);
- Minimum of 4 years work experience as a maintenance and or breakdown technician;
- Electrical knowledge: adjustment and adjustment of sensors, variable speed drives and electronic components;
- Mechanical knowledge: turning, milling and welding;
- Basic automation and control technology knowledge: PLC reading;
- Ambition to further develop your technical and personal skills;
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Good knowledge of English language (writing and speaking);
- Driver's licence B category
- European passport or identification card (no older than 5 years old and in very good condition).
What we offer you:
- € 3500 gross per month based on 40 hours per week. This excludes any shift premiums
- South and Middle Netherlands
- 25 holidays a year
- 8 % of your yearly gross salary as holiday money

- We will help you apply for your RNI (tax number) and Dutch health insurance;
- We provide you with a home as close to work as possible. We offer a private room in a house together with your colleagues. The cost for rent is around 200€ per week and includes water, electricity, gas and internet;
- We take care of your transportation by finding you a car (either personal or shared with your flatmates);
- Covered travel expenses to and from work (fuel card);
- Your employment contract, signed the day before you depart for the Netherlands (it is in English).
