Meli Suites is a prestigious luxury hotel nestled in the heart of Skala Potamia, Thassos. Known for our exclusive ambience, impeccable service, and commitment to quality, we aim to offer an unparalleled experience to every guest every season.

Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join Meli Suites as a Hotel Reservations &  Operations Manager. This unique role spans the entire year, with responsibilities that shift seasonally to meet the needs of our boutique, luxury operation.

Role Responsibilities:

Off-Season (6 months remote):

  • Reservations Management: Handle booking inquiries and confirmations, manage online reservation platforms, and oversee guest communications to maximize occupancy for the upcoming season.
  • Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with hotel management on preparing seasonal goals, identifying opportunities for growth, and implementing new strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
  • Pre-Opening Coordination: Ensure a seamless transition into the summer season by preparing guest information and coordinating with vendors.

In-Season (6 months on-site):

  • Front Desk Operations: Lead the front desk team to provide exceptional service, manage guest check-ins/outs, and address guest requests efficiently.
  • Guest Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for all guests, ensuring a memorable, luxury experience by providing personalized attention and resolving any concerns.
  • Hotel Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
  • Financial Oversight: Assist with basic financial tracking, ensuring that all transactions, bookings, and financial records are accurate.
  • Reservations Management: Handle booking inquiries and confirmations, manage online reservation platforms, and oversee guest communications to maximize occupancy for the upcoming season.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in hospitality management, luxury hotel experience preferred or anything else related to customer service. Experience in hospitality is not a requirement.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Availability: Must be able to work remotely in the off-season and reside on Thassos during the summer season.
  • Tech Savvy: Candidates familiar with hotel management and reservation software are preferred.
