The Technical Support Specialist provides remote support to customers experiencing technical issues (Hardware or workflows) or software related issues for the full DS equipment portfolio with focus on digital (i.e. but not limited to CADCAM/CBCT/IOS) range.
They provide customers with technical and/or educational information for all DS equipment portfolios (CADCAM/DI, Imaging, Treatment Centers & Instruments). The Technical Support Specialist provides escalation (Bensheim/Local Technical Team) or resolution routes (Dealer Partners) for customers and updates dealers & third parties on customer issues and/or required follow up.
As a Technical Support Specialist (Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Israel) you are responsible for supporting the Commercial Leader in Sales-related actives and to supporting the client in technical areas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall technical support to dealers for the installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintenance of dental equipment.
- Provide solutions to client and dealer queries.
- To professionally manage and process customer complaints
- Co-travel with dealers to customers to solve technical and complicated service troubleshooting
- Support all Dentsply Sirona events, exhibitions
- Work closely with the Dentsply Sirona team during sales events, product demo’s in the field
- Deliver technical development plan for dealer service teams
- Act as a technical authority to make recommendations with regards to service
- Ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures and that all the records and checks and maintained at all times
- Assist clients with installations and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Degree or relevant experience in IT or Engineering Experience in technical or service departments
- Communicative command of English (min. B2)
- Strong technical and communication skills IT skills (MS Microsoft, Windows, network connections)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical skills and technical knowledge to find the root cause and solution for technical issues
- Experience in providing technical training and leading technical meetings
- Ability to read and use in practice technical documentation
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Able to effectively develop and influence positive business partner relationships
- Must possess the highest degree of integrity and ethical standards
