The team at the Kassandra Bay Resort, Suites & Spa in Skiathos is expanding and seeking to hire individuals for the position of Waiter / Waitress, for the upcoming summer season of 2025.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort customers to their tables
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
• Offer menu recommendations upon request
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software
• Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
• Serve food and drink orders
• Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
• Handle guest complaints and report them to supervisor
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
• Deliver checks and collect bill payments
• Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
• Use waiting equipment such as trays and trolleys
• Follow all relevant health department regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to guests

• High school Diploma or above. Degree in Hospitality will be considered an asset
• At least 1 year working experience in a similar position, preferably in a 4* or 5* hotel
• Good knowledge and use of Greek and English both written and verbal (A second foreign language will be considered an asset)
• Knowledge of POS/PDA ordering software (HIT WebPos preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Customer-focused attitude with an approachable and friendly demeanor
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor, including a neat and well-groomed appearance and the ability to maintain confidentiality
