LMW is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Officer, experienced in the sector of construction and facilities, on behalf of a leading company specialized in the facilities management
Responsibilities
- Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and transport companies at home
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Receive offers from suppliers, subcontractors, transport companies and present comparative tables and purchase cost analysis
- Execute orders for projects as concerns production and consumables
- Update database (ERP) with order details (dates, suppliers, quantities, discounts, delivery notes and contracts) and support accounting invoicing and warehouse inventory
- Do market research of new suppliers, subcontractors, transport companies, products, and services
- Cooperate between all departments to ensure clear documentation of requirements to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department
- Organize and monitor transport scheduling
- Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
- Report to the Procurement Supervisor on ad-hoc and standard presentations
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers
