Python Developer

Role description:

• Development of software in Python to load and transform data from different sources into databases for later report generation
• Maintaining and further development of our existing Workflow Management environment (Apache Airflow) for coordination of data ingestion and report generation tasks
• Implementation of monitoring tools for ensuring data quality and report delivery
• General work in team to increase the technical quality of our whole infrastructure and toolset

Qualifications:

• Studies in computer science/business informatics or a comparable IT background
• Good programming skills in Python and practical experience in software development
• Knowledge of writing SQL queries and working with databases
• Good understanding of working in Linux environment
• Development skills and experience especially in context of Data Warehouses, data retrieval and transformation, as well as with Apache Airflow are favorable
• Confident communication skills in English
