Tilia Resort, at Mouressi, Pelion, is looking for a "Resort Host/Hostess, Reception". As a "Resort Host/Hostess, Reception " you will provide professional and customer focused service to our guests.
Resort Host will be responsible to be part of daily suites operations and in charge of coordinating them accordingly. On time to time basis he/ she may also be required to perform other reasonable job activities as requested by the Manager. To ensure we are providing the best services to our guests, your duties will entail guaranteeing consistently high quality services.
Job description:
- Ensure that all reservation requests are handled properly and in a timely manner, according to the Standards of the company
- Ensure the hotel’s website and OTAs are checked daily for new reservations, amendments and cancellations.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating all guest needs and handling successfully any possible complaints
- Ensuring all supplies and equipment are adequate in quantity and quality
- Is available to answer any questions, or resolve any problems that the guests may have, always aiming to do whatever he/she reasonably can to ensure that guests have the best possible holiday.
- To enable this, is knowledgeable about the area, its facilities and attractions.
- Catering guests’ demands such as restaurant reservations, excursions, tennis, massage, etc
- Managing the villa personnel by organizing daily morning meetings
- Taking care of any technical issues that may arise and promptly resolve them
- Ensure property is clean and always arranged according to villa's original set up before each arrival of guests
- Daily check of the condition and the cleanness of the Resort rooms and public areas
- Ensuring all suites are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Report any malfunction of equipment to the Manager
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Ability to lead by example and work effectively as part of a team
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the hotel and catering industry (reservations or front office dpt., is also useful!).
- Must be good at working as part of a team, both in leadership and supporting roles.
- Must be customer-focused, self-motivated, be conscientious and highly organised.
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Languages: Greek & English and any other language is considered as an advantage
- Ability to adapt to a fluid environment
- Commitment to a high level of customer service
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with efficiency and discretion
- Knowledge of food and wine pairings is a plus
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hotel management
