Sustainability Expert

Job Description

EUROCERT is seeking for its H/O in Athens a highly motivated and skilled Sustainability Expert to join the Certification Department & help develop our business model. Our ideal candidate is an experienced & creative engineer with management & communication skills, who will promote Eurocert’s inspection and certification activities locally and on worldwide basis.

Objectives of this Role

• Conduct inspection/audits in Greece and abroad
• Develop sustainability verification services
• Meet Eurocert’s highest quality standards while maintaining working knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices in compliance with National and European Regulations
• Management and communication with clients
• Promotion of provided services
• Build professional skills through continual training, education, and networking events

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Engineering or Science)
• 3+ years of work experience in Sustainability related Projects
• Knowledge of Life Cycle Analysis and Carbon Footprint calculation
• Familiarity with the National / European environmental and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (preferred)
• Familiarity with ISO Management Systems (preferred)
• Professional Engineer certification TEE (preferred)
• Knowledge of other foreign languages (preferred)
• Fluency in English
• Driving license and ability to travel
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Fulfilled military services
