Kivotos Santorini, is located in Imerovigli, the most exclusive and peaceful area of the Caldera, with great volcano and sunset views. Shortly after we opened our doors in 2019, we managed to stand out from the competition both for the hotel’s unique design and our team’s heartfelt service philosophy. Our property consists of 10 masterfully designed Suites and Villas with 180° breathtaking sunset views featuring hot tubs or private pools and the well-known “Mavro” fine dining restaurant & cocktail bar.
Your Role, Your Manager, Your Colleagues
This role gives you the opportunity to work in our distinguished “Mavro” restaurant with Mediterranean Cuisine and breathtaking Caldera view. Depending on your experience, you will be a Cook A, B or C, contributing utmost to the Culinary experience we offer to our guests. Your job position is referring directly to a talented, highly motivated Chef, and your colleagues are a mix of energetic and giving personalities who are passionate about offering memorable experiences to our guests.
A typical day at work looks like:
- Making all necessary food ingredients’ preparation according to your specific position in the kitchen team
- Following all Chef’s food recipes in order to always create dishes with consistency in taste, temperature, and appearance
- Contributing to your team’s high morale by caring about their thoughts and feelings
- Keeping your workplace a pleasant, clean, and safe environment for everyone to work
What you need to succeed in this role:
- A big smile and positive energy
- A people-centric philosophy
- A culinary certificate and a very good knowledge of the English language
- A minimum experience of 2 seasons in a similar position in a fine dining restaurant
- A HACCP certificate will be considered as an asset
- A willingness to contribute to a highly motivated team
- An ambition to step up your career
