Trekking Hellas is seeking to hire an Operations Manager for the Incoming Tourism department at our headquarters in Marousi, Athens.

Department: Incoming Tourism Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the complete and efficient organization of trips across Greece.
- Lead and manage the Incoming Tourism Operations team to achieve department goals.
- Establish effective communication and negotiations with local providers to secure optimal pricing, quality, payment terms, and cancellation conditions.
- Liaise with international travel agents and FITs (Free Independent Travelers).
- Maintain close collaboration with the Sales Department to draft, prepare, and review programs from both financial and quality perspectives.
- Work closely with the Accounting Department to manage incoming and outgoing payments and related invoicing.
- Recruit, train, and coordinate guides and facilitators required for trip operations.
- Contribute to budget reporting in collaboration with the Sales Department.
Qualifications:
- Proven professional experience in the Tourism & Hospitality industry.
- Degree in Tourism or Business Administration.
- Fluency in Greek and excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in the following software: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, online booking platforms, virtual meeting tools, CRM, or similar systems.
- Strong team spirit and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High adaptability and flexibility.
Highly Desirable:
- Personal or professional experience in outdoor activities.
- Proficiency in a third language (preferably German or French).
- Previous travel experience within Greece, and willingness to travel.
- Knowledge of environmental best practices.
