Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Reservations and Sales Department. As the Head of Reservations and Sales, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our restaurant remains a top choice for diners and event organizers alike. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee the restaurant's reservation system, ensuring optimal utilization of available tables and event spaces
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to attract private events, large parties, and corporate clients
- Build and maintain relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and local organizations
- Lead a team of reservationists and sales associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience, from initial inquiry to the event or dining experience
- Monitor reservation and sales data, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions to drive revenue and customer satisfaction
- Participate in the budgeting and financial planning process for the reservations and sales department
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field (preferred). or/
- Proven experience in reservations management and sales, preferably in the restaurant industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in both Greek and English language. Additional knowledge of other languages is a strong advantage and will be highly valued in this role, as it will enhance the guest experience and communication capabilities in our diverse restaurant environment
- Proficiency in reservation management software and sales tracking tools
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction
- Creativity in developing marketing and promotional strategies
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
