Kassandra Bay Resort, Suites & Spa in Skiathos, is a unique Resort Complex nestled within a timeless landscape by the sea and surrounded by nature in the beautiful island of Skiathos. The complex has been designed and crafted using friendly materials and is inspired by its own supreme beachfront location.

The team at the Kassandra Bay Resort, Suites & Spa in Skiathos is expanding and seeking to hire individuals for the position of Sous Maitre for the upcoming summer season of 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort guests with a professional and positive attitude
  • Oversee the flow of guests within the restaurant.
  • Manage the reservations and shift team. Organize time effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure workload is balanced and urgent situations are dealt with immediately.
  • Maintain and ensure cleanliness and well-organized dining room, overseeing the arrangement of tables, lighting, music, cleanliness, hygiene standards in the dining area.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
  • Oversee, pro-actively deal and address customer complaints or issues promptly
  • Act as a liaison between kitchen and service staff to resolve any operational challenges.
  • Coordinate special events, private parties, and functions, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Advise guests on menus & beverage choices.
  • Knowledge & correct adherence to HACCP-ISO procedures
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ensures that all F&B departments are properly stocked and that products orders are processed according to budget
  • Collaborate with the Front Office department, the CHEF, the F&B Manager and be informed about customer arrivals, guest allergies and/or dietary needs for special meals

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or other related field. Restaurant experience or additional education is generally preferred.
  • At least 2 years working experience in a similar position, preferably in a 4* or 5* hotel.
  • Good knowledge and use of Greek and English both written and verbal (A second foreign language will be considered an asset)
  • Knowledge of POS/PDA ordering software (HIT WebPos preferred) and HACCP-ISO procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Customer-focused attitude with an approachable and friendly demeanor
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, including a neat and well-groomed appearance and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality industries.
