Περιγραφή

Regency Entertainment S.A. a leading company in the Greek gaming and luxury hotels industry, is looking for a candidate to cover the following open position at Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki:

IT Coordinator

Main responsibilities:

  • Open Tickets via Service Now and follow up on getting resolutions in an integrated outsourced support from various vendors.
  • Understand the nature of the issues the customer is facing and provide adequate solutions.
  • Troubleshoot technical inadequacies by obtaining required information from the customer over phone or email and turn them in to a Service Now Ticket.
  • Report difficult or complex issues to the SSC- Shared Services Center. Try to find a feasible solution as soon as possible.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up with the users on a regular basis.
  • Maintain the record of common issues related to customer complaints with instructions for work arounds.
  • Determine potential issues and be proactive while suggesting improvements in the existing procedures.
  • Ensure that all the issues are resolved on timely manner based on priority.
  • Collaborate closely with the 24X7 Hyatt European SSC-Shared Services Center and Third Parties for Micros and Opera.
  • Report to The Group IT Director, Director of Finance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Fluency in English in both verbal and written communication

Experience

  • A minimum of one (1) year prior experience in working as an IT Help Desk Technician or Help Desk Specialist or relevant role
  • Hands-on experience in resolving technical issues and coordinating small project implementation

Competencies (skills, Knowledge, abilities)

  • Familiar with Service Now Ticketing System
  • Knowledge of Micros/Symphony Restaurant and Opera/PMS Front Office System
  • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking
  • Good knowledge of operating systems & computer applications
  • Computer and mobile devices knowledge/tech savviness
  • Be resourceful, able to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Be a patient listener
  • Flexible to work schedule demands
