Pre-Sales Product Specialist (GR-PPS-1001)
As a Pre-Sales Product Specialist you will be responsible for proactively promoting company’s security solutions and boosting sales, in the fields of Application Security, PKI & Authentication, Security Management, Network and Endpoint Security, Data Protection, to company’s customers and business partners. In this role, you will be providing pre-sales support to the sales force for all pre-sales requirements. This includes performing product demonstrations within the assigned region; as well as, providing individual pre-sales support to meet team quota targets. Specific responsibilities include: (i) meeting with existing and potential customers to gather requirements necessary to build effective demonstrations; (ii) development of customized demos, responses to RFPs and demo information required during the sales cycle; and (iii) performing product demonstrations to end users and senior management up to the executive level.
Main Responsibilities
- Serving as the technical and functional expert for the company’s solutions
- Keeping up to date with vendors product offerings / pricing business model
- Maintaining up to date product presentations / datasheets / pricelists
- Evaluating customer / partners business needs and design / propose appropriate solutions
- Supporting sales activities through onsite / webex product presentations
- Performing sales visits and customer calls to assist in sales process including needs assessments and requirement discovery sessions
- Taking a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, through networking and communications, to find new prospects
- Managing and assisting in preparation of RFP’s (Request for Proposals), as well as, providing the sales team with functional and technical support, as required
- Developing a marketing plan jointly with vendors for the wide presentation of the products
- Executing marketing plans through various channels (email, web site, webex, direct post communications, conference presentations etc)
- Registering sales leads to vendors and update company’s CRM according to progress of presales activities undertaken
- Developing relationships with existing customers and future references
- Producing monthly reports of product related opportunities for internal and vendor reporting
- Participating in Trade-shows, User Conferences and Technical / Sales Seminars
- Developing expertise and product knowledge in the complete suite of products offered
- Maintaining up to date Technical / Sales product certifications
- Executing Proof of Concept activities to end customers during sales stage individually / jointly with vendors
