Bartender/ Barista
Mission / Purpose
To act as a point of service at the
department, ensuring excellent customer service and the efficient operation of
the bar.
Accountabilities
- Prepares alcohol or
non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interacts with
customers, takes orders and serves snacks and drinks
- Assesses customers’
needs and preferences and makes recommendations
- Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plans and presents bar menu
- Checks customers’
identification and confirms it meets legal drinking age
- Restocks and
replenishes bar inventory and supplies
- Stays guest focused and
nurtures an excellent guest experience
- Complies with all
H&S regulations
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of
mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Excellent Communication
skills with both external and internal customers
- Multitasking
- HACCP knowledge /
Ability to keep the bar station organized and tidy at all times.
- Computer literacy (PC, POS).
- Very good command of
English language.
Desirable:
