Trenkwalder for it's client is currently seeking for a Purchasing Executive.
The role involves purchasing, contracting, and directly negotiating with various suppliers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective use of company resources, including preparing and analysing data/financial reports to aid management in planning, evaluation, and control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing policies and strategies to ensure smooth procurement processes.
- Prioritize and manage purchasing projects to meet company needs and objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Collaborate effectively with various departments to forecast demand and ensure the supply of services meets required quality standards.
- Negotiate and administer daily rates and contracts with suppliers.
- Set and achieve cost-saving targets, focusing on budget management and procurement efficiency.
- Provide administration and reporting on purchasing activities as required.
- Continuously update and maintain the company’s ERP system with accurate procurement data.
- Address international trading issues as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s ethical standards and corporate policies in all purchasing activities.
