We are looking for a highly
energetic, results driven and experienced Hotel Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manages day to day operations ensuring the quality and
that guest service experience is delivered to the highest levels
- Daily meeting with the team (8 people) to prioritize (organize daily -
weekly priorities) pending
matters, thus ensuring proper and smooth daily operation.
- Process of financial & operational data (e.g.
monthly report on revenue compared to Yearly Budget & Forecast)
- Ensure operational activities remain on time and
within a defined budget
- Focuses on exceeding revenue and guest expectations by
providing services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and
retention
- Reservations and payment handling.
- Managing and filling reservations, until arrival of
the guests
- Correspondence via e-mails and extranet.
- Ensures that complaints are handled without delay and
that effective follow-up action takes place to avoid recurrence
- Ensures compliance with all company and statutory
policies and procedure
- Prepares all required paperwork, including forms,
reports and schedules, in an organized and timely manner
- Assures hotel maintenance and staff or equipment
adequacy
- Takes accountability for his/her actions
Qualifications:
- 2+ years proven experience as an Operational Manager or 4+ years
experience as a Hotels’ Head of Department
- Excellent command of the English language (knowledge of German
language will be considered a plus)
- Excellent Computer Knowledge
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation and skills with a passion for
the hospitality industry
- Excellent
ability to work collaboratively across functions in a multicultural
professional environment
- Personal integrity with the ability to handle multiple challenging
priorities and assignments
