Job Role : As a Barista at Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort you are
responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while
providing exceptional guest service. Your role is essential in creating a
welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests, making each visit a
memorable one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coffee Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks, including
lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty brews. Ensure each beverage meets our
quality standards.
- Guest Service: Provide friendly and efficient
service to customers, taking orders, answering questions, and offering
recommendations.
- Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the beverage and coffee menu and prices.
- Brewing Equipment: Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment, ensuring they are
clean, well-maintained, and functioning correctly.
- Cash Handling:
Process guest payments accurately, handle cash, credit cards, and mobile
payments, and maintain a balanced cash register.
- Order Accuracy: Ensure orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. Address any
discrepancies or issues with orders promptly.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages to
the manager.
- Cleaning and Sanitation:
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, equipment,
and service areas. Follow hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Special Requests: Accommodate special guest requests, such as dietary preferences or personalized
drink orders, with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
- Promotions and Upselling:
Assist with promoting seasonal drinks, special offers, and loyalty programs.
Qualifications:
- High
school diploma or equivalent. Additional hospitality education or barista
training is a plus.
- 1 year
minimum experience on similar position , leadership in hospitality strongly
required
- Excellent
knowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be considered
accordingly.
- Exceptional
communication
- Familiarity
with POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Ability
to prioritize tasks, work under pressure with provided resources, manage workload
using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multi task position.
- Availability
to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
