Adecco, on behalf of Cedefop, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, one of the EU’s decentralized agencies, based in Thessaloniki Greece, is seeking to recruit a highly driven candidate for the following position:


Event Coordination & Administrative Assistant

(Interim Agent – up to 8 months)

Cedefop is looking to secure the support of an interim agent for up to 8 months in the Operations Department. Within the Department, the interim will be engaged in in providing support for:

-    the organisation of physical, virtual and hybrid events, ensuring the smooth execution of all logistical and administrative tasks before, during, and after the events.

-    the administrative management of Cedefop networks of external experts.


Job description

•    Provide administrative and logistical support for event organisation, including planning, coordination, and execution of events.

•    Assist in the preparation and implementation of event-related documents, materials, and activities.

•    Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including participants, speakers, and service providers.

•    Support Cedefop staff in keeping network records up to date, organising meetings and supporting communication

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Candidate’s Profile

•    At least two (2) years of proven professional experience in in event organisation or, administration preferably in an international or multicultural environment.

•    Experience in administrative or customer service roles

•    Digital proficiency (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams).

•    Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (at least C1 level)

•    Solid planning and organizational skills and attention to detail.

•    Ability to manage efficiently multiple priorities under tight deadlines

•    Ability to work constructively as part of a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.

•    Proactivity and results orientation, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
