Junior Accountant

(Marousi)

Job Description:

• Assists in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconciles bank statements and ensures accuracy in accounting records.
• Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Maintains and updates general ledger entries.
• Prepares and processes payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Assists in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Supports month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assists with budgeting and forecasting tasks.
• Monitors and tracks expenses, ensuring they align with the budget.
• Collaborates with the finance team to improve accounting processes and systems.
• Provides administrative support for audits and assists with data gathering during audits.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Αccounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in the accounting field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., ERP, Excel).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
• Strong ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
