Main Responsibilities:
- Register and
maintain accounting entries (expenses, purchases, fixed assets, etc.) in
company ledgers, ensuring compliance with Greek GAAP.
- Reconcile
accounts and review balance sheets regularly, investigating discrepancies and
taking corrective actions as needed.
- Invoice products
accurately, applying correct pricing and terms.
- Process vendor
and supplier invoices for e-books operations, ensuring tax compliance through
the MyData platform.
- Manage accounts
payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile company
bank accounts regularly and assist in implementing monthly closing operations.
- Manage monthly
payroll processing, ensuring compliance with labor-related regulations.
- Assist in audits,
financial reporting, and team collaboration to meet financial objectives.
- Provide support
during monthly and annual audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 3+ years of
experience in a structured accounting department, preferably in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of
Accounting Standards, Greek General Chart of Accounts, and Tax Legislation.
- Familiarity with
Greek Labor Legislation and payroll processing (knowledge of the ERGANI system
is a plus).
- Accounting
License B’ or higher.
- Strong
proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with
ERP systems and EPSILON Payroll Business Software is considered an asset.
- Excellent command
of the English language.
- Analytical
thinking with attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork,
collaboration, and time management skills.
- Ability to
prioritize tasks and work under pressure, both independently and as part of a
team.
- Strong work ethic
and eagerness to learn.
