Main Responsibilities:

  • Register and maintain accounting entries (expenses, purchases, fixed assets, etc.) in company ledgers, ensuring compliance with Greek GAAP.
  • Reconcile accounts and review balance sheets regularly, investigating discrepancies and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Invoice products accurately, applying correct pricing and terms.
  • Process vendor and supplier invoices for e-books operations, ensuring tax compliance through the MyData platform.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile company bank accounts regularly and assist in implementing monthly closing operations.
  • Manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with labor-related regulations.
  • Assist in audits, financial reporting, and team collaboration to meet financial objectives.
  • Provide support during monthly and annual audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • 3+ years of experience in a structured accounting department, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Standards, Greek General Chart of Accounts, and Tax Legislation.
  • Familiarity with Greek Labor Legislation and payroll processing (knowledge of the ERGANI system is a plus).
  • Accounting License B’ or higher.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems and EPSILON Payroll Business Software is considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
