Senior Mechanical Engineer

€1500 to €2400 per month depending on experience.

Full-time 40 hours per week and on-site only. Location is in Attica Athens.

An exciting role for a very experienced and talented individual who is looking for a new challenge. You will be joining a start-up company developing an electromechanical chair (www.sarros.ai for more information). 

Key responsibilities

• Experience with Solidworks CAD package for both modelling and drawing.
• Ability to interpret and create high quality mechanical drawings
• Provide reliable and robust design solutions that can be taken from conceptual design through to full working mechanical assemblies.
• FEA analysis of structures to understand the capabilities of the design.
• Selection of suitable materials and methods for low and high-volume output.
• Design and testing of mechanisms.
• Review and refine existing models.
• Fault finding, diagnosis & carrying out repair or replacement of components.
• Liaising with other engineers, industrial designers, and international suppliers.
• Technical support to colleagues & assisting others.
• Maintain a safe working environment for colleagues.
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
• Any other duties as and when required.

Requirements

• MUST be University degree qualified.
• MUST be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• MUST have Solidworks experience.
• MUST have finite element analysis experience.
• MUST understand mechanisms and the forces associated with them.
• MUST have designed products which have gone into production.
• MUST have over 5 years of mechanical design and product design experience.
• MUST have an understanding on the agile nature of a start-up company.
