Three Olive Trees Apart hotel is seeking a Front Office Manager.
Location: Anavyssos.
The ideal candidate will be a young professional with a passion for hospitality.
The Front Office Manager is responsible for ensuring all staff within the front office department are performing to aparthotel standards
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that guests checking in and checking out are handled according to hotel standards and that their expectations are met on a day-to-day basis
- Assist guests with all check-in procedures, Issue room keys, and answer any questions they may have
- Take extra care to address any special needs of guests, or possible guest complaints
- Provide the highest service standards to our guests, and welcome them in an exceptionally warm, polite, friendly, and professional manner
- Provide additional information to the guests that is tailored to their preferences
- Post the relevant charges to the appropriate account, to provide the itemized bills to the guests, and make sure that they are delivered promptly and are accurate
- Ensure guest information is updated and accurate at all times.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Ensure that all front office interior and exterior, as well as furniture and equipment, are always clean and well maintained
Qualifications:
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or relevant field
- Minimum of 1-year experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area
- Excellent knowledge of the English language. Additional languages will be considered a plus
- Good Computer Skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
- POS knowledge
- Hotel reservation software knowledge is required
- Ability to give clear and concise instructions
- Applicant must have strong interpersonal and administrative skills
- Needs to be able to communicate and collaborate well with others
- Professional appearance and presentation
- Maintain tact and diplomacy in tough guest situations
- Ability to converse in both Greek and English - Fluency in both languages
- Strong team player and able to work under pressure
- Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain a high level of confidentiality
