Junior Accountant

LMW is seeking for a Junior Accountant on behalf of a dynamic company. The position is based in Athens.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile various bank accounts by compiling and balancing financial information
• Record all financial transactions daily
• Process income statements, balance sheets and other management account reports, under the supervision of the Senior Accountant
• Update financial records via accounting software
• Assist the Financial Controller with systems administration G/L, account reconciliation and budget preparations
• Complete and file tax documents with appropriate agencies, like the IRS, state and local government entities
• Liaise with the External Accountant for other accounting issues

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role within an accounting department
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
• Proficient use of MS Office and Accounting Software Tools
• Fluency in English
• Familiarity with accounting standards and relevant legislation
