Manpower, on behalf of its client, is searching for an experienced General Store Manager based in Thessaloniki. Responsibilities
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
• Guide, motivate and coach the sales team and support them in attaining their goals
• Drive and maximize sales performance to consistently achieve the overall sales budget objectives while ensuring operational integrity and monitoring monthly profitably
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
• Monitoring the time tables and planning to be sure shop have enough staff to operate
• Make sure all activities in the store are compliant with the local laws, regulations and company’s code of conduct
• Ensure the storefront image (cleanliness, commercial appearance, and lighting).
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
• Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
• Additional store manager duties as needed
