As a Lifeguard, you’ll be an important part of the team in a hotel or a holiday park. You will ensure that everyone can use the pool safely and that they have access to everything they need to enjoy their visit. As a lifeguard, you have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills. You are passionate about great customer care – and you’re a real team player.

What you'll do:

• Help the guest stay safe and healthy when using the facilities – indoor swimming pool
• Do everything you can to create a friendly, relaxed, and professional environment
• Make sure everyone who arrives enjoys a warm welcome and efficient service
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away

• Have at least 1 year of experience in the same role
• Have strong English communication skills (B2 level); German is a plus
• Hold EU passport/ID card. No work permits or visas are accepted

*Bonus: having Lifeguard and FirstAid certificate 

What's in it for you?

* The all-in salary is €16,88 gross per hour. This is based on the gross base salary of €14,41 per hour, which can add up to €520 net per week based on 38 hours.This is the amount before the deduction of any costs, like rent, transportation and health insurance which influences the amount candidates will see in their bank account (more hours = more money). 

* The above includes: +18% holiday pay; 8% holiday fee paid per week, and + 10% holidays is saved for the employee and paid out when they take holiday/request it for sick leave. 

* Employees work an average of 38 hours/ week. There can be fluctuations as is the norm in the industry: there might be times when the employee works 30 hours in one week, but 46 hours the next.

*The accommodation is always provided and with rent. The type and price of the accommodation differs per client and offer (usually anywhere between 75-500€/month). The accommodation can be shared or single rooms - depending on availability and the expectations of the candidate. Generally, pets are not accepted since most common areas are shared with other employees. 

*1-3 meals on duty provided depending on employer
