The responsibilities for the HR Generalist role are:
- Manage all aspects of the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll, including setting up new employee hires and departures, processing changes,entering payroll information and calculating overtimes
- Maintain pay plan and develop benefits program
- Develop and monitor HR policies and processes that align with the overall strategy and facilitate the business operations
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Redesign and manage the recruitment and selection process and invest in the company’s employer branding
- Design and manage a performance management cycle that drives high performance and leads to individual development
- Analyze training needs and design a learning strategy that leads to suitable training programs
- Nurture a positive working environment, where company culture and values are identified and promoted
- Design the framework that will allow the company to develop, engage, motivate and retain employees
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
The requirements of this HR Generalist include:
- First degree in Social Sciences or Business Administration
- Master’s in Human Resources will be considered an asset
- Proven working experience in Human Resources in a position of responsibility
- Good knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Knowledge of HR systems
- People oriented and results driven
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Ability to build an efficient HR structure from scratch
- The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
