Hotel Operations Manager

Luxury Boutique Hotel in Mykonos is looking for an Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments (Food & Beverage, Reception, Fitness & Wellness, Housekeeping & Maintenance) work smoothly in a customer-centric manner. 
• Supervise staff and ensure they are all coordinated efficiently to execute their duties.
• Focus on keeping costs under approved budgets, implement marketing & pricing policies according to the company's strategy, maintain compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines (adhering to health and safety standards).
• Where necessary solve problems by communicating with customers directly, addressing maintenance issues and collaborating with external parties such as suppliers.
• Seek to uphold the hotel’s stellar reputation and try to enhance the levels of customer satisfaction even further (as measured by online review scores).
• Aim to achieve the occupancy / revenue targets set by the company. 

• Very good level of English is a must; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Past experience (preferably in Greece and ideally in Mykonos) as Hotel Manager or relevant senior role (e.g. Reception Manager) is strongly recommended. 
• Knowledge of Greek hotel management software (PMS) such as WebHotelier / Hotelizer is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service skills as well as a business mindset focused on outcomes.
• Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making, problem-solving and a great attention to detail.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Degree or certifications in Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management etc are desirable but not a prerequisite to be considered for the role.
• References from past employers may be required.
