The Role:
As the Front Office Supervisor, your primarily role is to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Front Office team. You should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise, lead and coordinate the front office team to meet and exceed guests’ expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing Training, supervising, and supporting the Front Office team members which consists of receptionists, concierge, drivers, and bell boys.
- Prepare weekly Schedule & supervise workload during shifts.
- Monitor all cash-handling & credit policies.
- Maintain close collaboration and effective communication with Housekeeping, Reservations & Food & Beverage departments.
- Ensure that all tasks of the Front Office team are carried out in a smooth and exceptional manner while adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures of the Front office department.
- Handle complaints and monitor all V.I.P & guests requests and act proactively for their immediate resolution.
- Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and informative leaflets).
- Perform all duties of the Front Desk (if required).
- Maintain high visibility with guests and employees.
- Follow all relevant Health & Safety department regulations.
- Lead by example & serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviour.
- Initiate and implement up-selling and cross selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize overall revenue, while monitoring department's costs.
- Have an excellent knowledge of hotel facilities, daily events, activities, and functions that take place to provide accurate information to the guests and coordinate departments needed.
- Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate metrics, and address issues and make improvements accordingly in coordination with the Executive management.
