Περιγραφή

On behalf of our client, a 5* Resort in Ierapetra, Crete, we are recruiting a Pastry Cook A/B for the upcoming summer season.

As a Pastry Cook A/B, you will be an integral part of the pastry team, assisting in the preparation and execution of high-quality desserts and baked goods that enhance the guest dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for pastry arts, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.

The Role:

  • Assisting in the preparation of a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and breads following the resort's culinary standards.
  • Supporting the Pastry Chef and team in developing seasonal and specialty dessert offerings that reflect local flavors and ingredients.
  • Ensuring consistency and quality in all pastry items while adhering to recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, following food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Managing ingredient preparation, portioning, and assisting in inventory control.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Staying updated on pastry techniques and industry trends to contribute fresh ideas to the menu. 

Skills That Will Make You Stand Out in This Role:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Cook A/B or similar role in a luxury hospitality setting, preferably within a resort or fine dining establishment.
  • Solid knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and baking principles.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
