Sani S.A., a Complex of 5* hotels & a Private Marina in Chalkidiki, is seeking to recruit professionals for 2017 summer season at the position of ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER (SARM017).
The role
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for the planning, organization, direction and control of the restaurant operation and administration ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and financial results as per company standards and requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- To closely monitor and control the food and beverage cost of the outlet
- To ensure that the outlet is adequately equipped in terms of food, beverage and other supplies and the receiving procedure takes place according to the company internal policy
- To assist in controlling the requisitioning, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies
- To plan the outlet weekly roster and work schedules to ensure that the outlet is adequately staffed to handle the level of business
- To control and report for the daily department revenue to the food and beverage management
- To revise and update the outlet departmental operations manual as well as the annual budgeting of the outlet
- To identify recruitment and training staff needs of the outlet and to recruit the suitable department staff
- To ensure that all employees report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times. To ensure that they maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department’s grooming standards
- To ensure that all employees provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
- To conduct performance appraisal for all departmental staff
