ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client a Greek Commercial Company, leader in its field, is looking for a skilled professional for the position of Key Account Manager to join their team.

Key Account Manager (5665/KAM/ESS/GR)

Position Summary:

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of major clients in the retail sector, specifically targeting supermarket chains, entertainment and technology stores. This role involves developing trust-based relationships, executing strategic sales plans, managing orders and inventory, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring a win-win relationship.
  • Manage an existing portfolio of major clients, focusing on supermarket chains and entertainment and technology stores.
  • Conduct regular sales visits and business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to each key account.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of orders and deliveries.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Implement sales promotion plans and execute promotional activities to boost sales and enhance product visibility in the market.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and deploy effective in store marketing activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and manage client complaints effectively.
  • Monitor and manage customer balances in line with the company’s commercial policy.
  • Conduct market research and analyze competition to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Perform category analysis to support the development of targeted sales strategies.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager or similar role within the FMCG or the retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of sales and trade marketing principles, with a focus on retail.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Availability for daily sales visits within the Attica region.
