Accountant

Eurofast Cyprus on behalf of our client we are seeking to employ an Accountant for their offices in Athens.

Job Description:

• Prepare and submit VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings while ensuring tax compliance
• Maintain accounts, document bills and supporting documentation
• Perform general book-keeping, accounting and general administration work
• Update financial records via accounting software
• Deliver accurate and balanced trial balances
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounting records
• Track and monitor accounts receivable/ accounts payable
• Issue and prepare invoices
• Perform reconciliations

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant accounting qualification
• Knowledge of generally accepted local accounting principles and IFRS updates
• 3-4 years of previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge in MS Office, especially in Excel is required
• Fluent in both Greek and English Language both oral & written
• Analytical and attention to detail
