Our client is one of the most innovative and pioneering companies in the IT and Telecommunications sector, with many years of experience and expertise in the development of integrated information systems and the management of complex projects.
The company has more than 170 employees and due to its rapid development, is looking for a dynamic and organized member to join its team as a Bid & Proposal Manager, based either in Athens or Thessaloniki.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for managing the preparation and submission of bids, as well as the effective implementation and delivery of projects to public sector clients.
Now, let us see how your typical workday looks like:
- Tender Analysis and Selection:
- Review and select public sector tenders to ensure alignment with organizational goals
Proposal Preparation:
- Prepare detailed basically technical and economical proposals tailored to public sector tender requirements
- Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams, as well as external partners, to ensure accurate and competitive submissions
Submission and Compliance:
- Monitor tender timelines and ensure timely and accurate submissions
- Address clarification requests and ensure full compliance with tender requirements during the evaluation process
Documentation and Organization:
- Maintain and organize all documentation related to the tendering process, ensuring easy retrieval and audit readiness
Competitive Analysis:
- Review and analyze competitors' technical proposals to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for differentiation
Reporting and Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key developments, risks, and opportunities
The skills and competencies for this role are:
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position or in project and tender management
- Strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, and telecommunications solutions
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into compelling proposals
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Experience in the use of project and tender management tools
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
