The main responsibilities of the OTC Sales Manager:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Manage and expand the customer base of pharmacies and pharmaceutical wholesalers.
  • Launch new products and strengthen the presence of existing ones in the market.
  • Increase the brand's market share within the industry.
  • Ensure the brand’s market positioning aligns with the company’s strategic standards.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with pharmacies, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs specific to the Greek pharmaceutical market.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional efforts with sales objectives.
  • Supervise and guide a team of sales representatives.
  • Provide training and support to ensure team performance and alignment with company goals.
  • Set clear objectives and align the team’s mindset to achieve sales targets (both quantity and quality).
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales activities and results.
  • Adjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a sales representative team.

The ideal candidate for the position of a OTC Sales Manager will be expected to possess the following:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the Greek pharmacy market and its dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
  • Good Communication and Presentation Skills.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools is a plus.
