Senior Software Developer

We are looking for a software Developer for Desktop and/or WEB with PYTHON/API development, who possesses a passion for engineering. The developer will oversee existing or design and develop new applications for the Raptor Trading Systems, a data-driven group, that combines data, research, technology, and trading expertise, which enables users to solve the most complex trading challenges. Responsibilities

• Build or maintain existing, advanced computer applications for the RTSI platform that services numerous clients for trading systems, covering trade entry, position management, order monitoring, execution, risk and PnL functionalities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and test new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs for external acquiring correlating data
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development
• Supporting product owners, advising on requirements, and creating scalable flexible solutions

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven professional software development experience of 3+ years
• Proven experience in building and working with PYTHON and its libraries (Flask, SQL Alchemy, etc)
• Proven working experience in Data Representation and web Front-ends.
• Experience with Typescript, JavaScript, JSON, HTML 5 and CSS/LESS
• Good knowledge of Web Containers, WebSocket, Electron, and WinUI3
• Experience working with remote data via RESTful and JSON
• Very good knowledge of data arrays and data manipulation
• Knowledge of Charting using packages like High Charts or Infragistics Ignite UI, AG Grid, Datatables, FIX Protocol and C++ is highly desirable

Beyond the technology, the Software Development Engineer should have deep technical expertise and the ability to balance strategic and tactical application development responsibilities. Ability to lead requirements meetings and provide technical resources on the team to execute these designs and ensure that all solutions meet or exceed client expectations.

Must be able to communicate fully in English, all ideas and applicable solutions in a team-driven development environment (Agile). Responsibilities include customer support related to the company applications or info systems. Employee must be able to travel occasionally to USA/England whenever there is a need from the job.

Primary Location: Thessaloniki – Greece.
