Sales Executive
Location: Thessaloniki
Position Summary
The
Sales Executive will have to listen to our clients’ needs, analyze all
information, ask follow-up questions and create tailored proposals to meet and
exceed expectations. Additionally, he /she will work
closely with clients, event planners, and internal departments to coordinate
and execute a variety of events, including corporate functions, weddings,
conferences, and social gatherings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present the
company and make proposals and other external sales presentations to
prospective customers to explain, negotiate and promote hotel and banquet sales
- Handle
sales accounts, compose Banquet event proposals
- Work with
the Chef and Hotel Manager to determine selling prices and menus for events,
establish goals and help develop banquet sales budgets
- Prepare detailed banquet event
orders (BEOs) and ensure all event details are communicated effectively
- Oversee event setup, execution,
and breakdown to ensure client satisfaction
- Ensure
satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding
any changes, substitutions or special requests; assisting banquet staff
throughout the event as needed (refilling drinks, delivering food, bussing
tables, etc.); follow up with event host at the conclusion of the event
- Conduct sales calls, site
visits, and presentations to showcase banquet facilities and services
- Prepare and negotiate event
proposals and contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
- Maintain an updated database of
potential and existing clients
- Collaborate with the marketing
team to create promotional campaigns for banquet sales
- Conduct
site inspection of the property with new or existing partners, show rooms,
banquet facilities, and all other hotel facilities for business meetings or
special events
- Build and
promote strong, long lasting customer relationships; maintain and develop good
relations with existing partners, agents, companies and regular individual
guests
- Implement activities appointed
by the Director of Sales and Marketing concerning key accounts
- Cooperate with reservations
department and coordinate sales operations with other departments; prepare and
maintain any required documentation
- Prepare sales reports,
forecasts, and event performance analysis
- Manage event deposits,
invoicing, and payment follow-ups
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in
Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Excellent
knowledge of Greek and English language
- Availability
to travel
- Strong
business sense and industry expertise, excellent communication skills
- Must be
highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented, focused on accomplishing high
quality results
